The CEENQA annual General Assembly took place on 10 June 2026 in Split, hosted by ASHE (Agency for Science and Higher Education). Members gathered to review the network’s activities, discuss organisational matters, and elect new leadership for the upcoming term.
One of the key agenda items was the election of five Board positions, an important step in shaping CEENQA’s future direction. CEENQA extends its sincere thanks to the outgoing leadership: former president Vesna Dodiković‑Jurković, vice‑president Diane Freiberger, treasurer Péter Levente Lakatos, and board members Hasan Ali Bicak and Dinçay Köksal. We wish them all the best in their next professional and personal chapters.
The Assembly warmly congratulated the newly elected leadership: president Simona Lache and vice-president Lasha Margishvili.
We also welcome the newly elected Board members: Yuliia Bleshmudt (FIBAA), Nataliia Stukalo (NAQA), Marina Grubišić (ASHE), Nebojša Zdravković (NEAQA), and Sibel Süzen (ECZAKDER).
With a combination of experience, continuity, and fresh perspectives, CEENQA looks ahead with confidence as it enters the next chapter of its development.
The members also voted on new membership application: National Quality Assurance Agency for Education (NQAAE) from Uzbekistan was welcomed as CEENQA’s newest member.
