INVITATION LETTER
The Social, Humanities and Basic Sciences Accreditation and Rating Association (STAR) established in 2020, is one of Türkiye’s leading quality assurance associations, authorized by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) to evaluate and accredit higher education programmes in Türkiye and North Cyprus. We are organizing an international online conference on “Revisiting the ESG for Improved Relevance and Clarity” on 17 October 2025 (Friday) from 10:00 to 12:15, (Istanbul local time).
The Conference will start with the welcoming speech of Prof. Dr. Ümit KOCABIÇAK, President of YÖKAK (attendance subject to confirmation), and Dr. İsmail Erkam Tüzgen, President of STAR, followed by the presentations of our distinguished invited speakers:

The moderator of the conference is Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Bıçak, Head of the Internalization Committee of STAR, CEENQA Board Member. The event is highly relevant for roughly 250 universities and 27 QA agencies across Turkey and North Cyprus, and will also be open to the broader international QA community.
